Our event encourages deeper connections and one-on-one conversations. All are welcome to join, newcomers and regulars alike, as we work together to fuel our passion for helping others.

EVENT FORMAT

• 10-minute new member EA Houston crash course (old members can skip or network among themselves)
• 5-minute announcements and brief explanation of the discussion topic
• 10-minute introductions (sharing one thing you want to accomplish and one thing you can help others with)
• The rest of the event will be open mingling with other participants. We'll have optional discussion questions available to use as conversation starters.

This week's topic: Open truth-seeking
Rather than starting with a commitment to a certain cause, community or approach, it’s important to consider many different ways to help and seek to find the best ones.
This means putting serious time into deliberation and reflection on one’s beliefs, being constantly open and curious for new evidence and arguments, and being ready to change one’s views quite radically.
