Professor Peter Singer comes to speak at the University of Melbourne to discuss animal rights and the revised edition of his seminal 1975 book, Animal Liberation!

Animal Liberation has for 48 years served as a highly influential philosophical foundation for the animal rights movement. Singer's recently released revised edition, Animal Liberation Now, addresses the modern challenges of the animal rights movement, specifically industrialised animal production and the significant harm it has on animals, the climate, and world biosecurity.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about animal ethics from one of the world's most celebrated living philosophers and Melbourne University Alumni.

The event begins at 6:30PM on Friday the 4th of August at the Kathleen Fitzpatrick Theater, University of Melbourne, Parkville campus.

Copies of Animal Liberation Now will be available for sale at the venue. There will be an opportunity for Singer to sign copies of his books.

No registration is required. Early arrival is requested!
