Martin Gould is an Animal Welfare Advocate at Open Philanthropy, identifying opportunities to improve farmed animal welfare. Open Philanthropy is one of the largest Effective Altruism organisations in the world, and Martin has generously offered us an insight into the work he does to promote the causes of Effective Altruism in the real world.

After Martin's presentation we'll have questions and free dinner for all attendees. Effective Altruism Monash is an open, welcoming community committed to bettering our world in big and small ways, and we'll stick around for a while to chat about Effective Altruism, life at Monash, and just socialise.
