Prof. Tasoff has received funding from the Open Philanthropy Project, and has also published widely in mainstream behavioral econ.

At a minimum, please skim both papers and pick out at least one discussion point from each you want to talk about. Full reading encouraged. The meetup will be a brief lecture followed by discussion/Q&A.

Even if animal welfare & climate change aren't your main cause areas, there's a lot to learn here about economics, policymaking, and study design. Come prepared with insightful questions-- it's a great altruistic thing to do for everyone else at the meetup. Let's learn some new stuff!
