Hey 🙂
Our next local group meeting is coming up!

Let’s learn more about the research on finding the most effective charities!

We will have a special guest this week: Sebastian Schienle, one of the founders and Research Directors at Effektiv Spenden, Germany’s most effective giving platform. Sebastian will talk about how Effektiv Spenden looks at charity evaluations, why they are important, and about some of the challenges involved in the process. After the talk there will be room for Q&A and some discussions in smaller groups.

I highly recommend visiting the Effektiv Spenden website (www.effektiv-spenden.org) prior to the event! This is your exceptional opportunity to ask Sebastian any questions you may have about their work.

We will meet this Wednesday (July 12th) at 7:30 p.m., in Philosophenweg 12 (Physics Institute, Neuenheim), room 106, (1st floor).

Of course, as always, there will also be room to discuss general topics related to effective altruism, to socialise and to have a good time together. 🙂

Would you like to join us? Then register using this form and we will send you all further information in advance: https://forms.gle/Fk5r8EbS8ok8WHbW8

If you just want to drop by spontaneously, that's of course also possible! 🙂

If you have any questions, you can always contact us via the contact form or directly via email ([email protected]).

We are looking forward to seeing you!
LG Moritz (on behalf of the local group)
